Our client is Canada’s one of the largest environmental consulting firm with a staff of over 850 across 40 offices and presence in the market since 1981. Their objective is to help other organizations meet environmental regulations at the time of a new acquisition or initiation of a new project. They approached Streebo to solve their automation problem. Our client used to employ paper-based forms to carry out health and safety audits. This inherently made things very difficult and cumbersome to manage, also posing a big security risk. Also, since this is an environmental consulting firm, using paper-based forms was not in-line with their goal of protecting the natural environment. In addition, it took a lot of time as they had to wait for the field representative to come back to trigger and continue with the necessary approvals, hence increasing the processing time for every audit which they filed. This in-turn affected operational costs. In addition, no access to real-time information also hampered them to gain meaningful insights.
How Streebo addressed this challenge. Streebo offered them an out of the box mobile forms platform solution powered by HCL Leap that not only helped address the above issues but also helped extend mobile capabilities to the forms, thus making them future ready. Each audit had to move through a parallel flow where, upon submitting the form, it was mandated that it gets the approval from at least two or more managers. Further, they had to ensure that certain criteria from the guidebook were met each time the audit was made. Previously, they had no way to access this in real-time. Streebo solved this problem by providing Cross-references of this guide from their share-point repository which allows them to refer the related policy/criteria while still on-field, thus ensuring accuracy and faster process.
